Parent and Public Advisory Group

What is the PAG?

The Parent and Public Advisory Group (PAG) is one of the most important parts of the project.

The PAG is a network of people who provide advice and support to the project. It is mainly parents who have given medicines to children at home, but it also includes people who haven’t.

The PAG meets face to face every 6 months. Part of the meeting is to talk about the research, but it is also a social event to meet and talk about anything you would like to.

Stephen may also contact PAG members for advice from time to time between meetings.

What do people say about our meetings?

“Always feel like a welcoming environment, a safe space to share experiences.”

“The facilities for kids were brilliant, thank you!”

“I really enjoyed it and it was great to chat to other parents more :)”

When is the next PAG meeting?

Please contact us to let us know if you are planning to come.

When? The next meeting on the 7th February 2026 @ 10am (until 12noon)

What will we discuss? We will look at the results of our research with parents. We will also look at some pictures we have made about our research. And also talk to share ideas, stories or anything else that is useful!

What support is available? Payment for your time (a £30 gift 4 all voucher) and travel costs. Also refreshments are provided, and hopefully a play specialist to keep your children entertained whilst the grown ups talk!

Where? Leeds City Museum, Denny Room (downstairs as you go through the main entrance).

This is the location on a map:

And this is what it looks like from outside. Go through the big blue doors, take the stairs (or lift) down to the bottom floor). Our room is to your left.

PAG Data Management

Any data related to the PAG is held electronically on the University of Leeds and http://www.wordpress.com servers and held for as minimal as time as possible.

Email addresses and contact details for PAG members are held on the University of Leeds Microsoft Onedrive which is only accessible through 2-factor authentication by the doctoral fellow (Stephen). These will be deleted at the end of the doctoral fellowship (2027), or sooner if PAG members request to be removed from the list.
